The authorised share capital of Mediq NV amounts to € 60 million divided into 100 million ordinary shares with a nominal value of € 0.25 each, 5 million financing preferential shares of € 1 each and 30 million cumulative preference shares of € 1 each. 

Per the beginning of September 2011 (after the payment of the 2011 interimdividend) 60,173,120 ordinary shares have been issued, of which 56,637,905 are entitled to vote (the other 3,535,215 shares are owned by Mediq). The ordinary shares are listed since 1992 on Euronext Amsterdam. The share is included in the Amsterdam Mid Cap Index (AMX) on Euronext Amsterdam with the ticker symbol: MEDIQ and the ISIN code NL0009103530. Before 9 April 2009 - the date of the name change of the company- the symbol was OPGNc.AS and the ISIN code MEDIQ. On 17 April 2007 the share was split: 4 new shares for each existing share.

None of the financing preference and cumulative preference shares have been issued to date.
