Mediq is an international company with healthcare as central theme. The various markets in which we operate are not regular markets. Governments set requirements on affordability, accessibility and quality of care. This makes healthcare markets highly complex and challenging.

The success of our company depends on the extent to which we are able to meet the needs of our customers. Our business strategy also needs to incorporate the views and interests of other stakeholders such as governments, political officials, regulatory bodies and patient and consumer organizations. The Corporate Affairs Department actively monitors the discussion between these parties. Where possible we, directly or through industry associations, contribute to the discussion. At corporate level, Marco Kortleve, Manager Public Affairs, maintains contacts with governmental bodies, politicians, regulators and patient and consumerorganisations.

The Director of Corporate Communications, Catrien van Buttingha Wichers, is the contact for shareholders and other investors. Annegees van Linge, also from the Corporate Communications department, is the contact for journalists. The responsibility for CSR lies with the Director Quality Assurance and Safety, Conny Castelein.
