• Sjoerd van Keulen new Chairman of Mediq’s Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board of Mediq, international supplier of pharmaceuticals and medical devices, has appointed Sjoerd van Keulen as Chairman. Sjoerd van Keulen succeeds Fokko van Duyne, who earlier this year announced his wish to step down from the Supervisory Board. Sjoerd van Keulen joined Mediq’s Supervisory Board in April 2010.

Sjoerd van Keulen (1946) is Chairman of the Holland Financial Centre. He was formerly Chairman of the Executive Board of SNS Reaal Groep and held various management positions at Pierson, Heldring Pierson, MeesPierson and Fortis. He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of APG Groep and of Heijmans NV, a director of Stichting Health Insurance Fund and Stichting Natuur en Milieu, a member of the Supervisory Board of the WWF and adviser to PharmAccess Foundation. With his specific expertise in the fields of human resources, organisation and marketing Sjoerd van Keulen possesses the required expertise and experience to serve as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

As from today, Mediq’s Supervisory Board comprises the following six members: Sjoerd van Keulen (Chairman), Biense Visser (Vice Chairman), Marga van Weelden, Frank de Moor, Oern Stuge and Wim van den Goorbergh.
