Mediq strengthens market position in Sweden
Mediq, international supplier of medical devices and pharmaceuticals, has acquired part of Medic24’s activities in Sweden. These activities concern the supply of medical devices to GPs and specialists, which expands Mediq Sverige’s existing activities in this customer segment. The acquisition ties in with Mediq’s strategy of growing its Direct and Institutional activities.
The product portfolio comprises all supplies required by GPs and specialists, ranging from disinfectant products, gloves, wound care to laboratory equipment. In 2010 this part of Medic24’s business generated sales of € 1.5 million with 6 employees.
