Gerben Klein Nulent to step down from Mediq Board
With the completion of the sale of ACP Pharma in Poland per 14 April, Gerben Klein Nulent will be stepping down as a member of the Mediq Executive Board as of 1 May. Gerben Klein Nulent will continue to work with the management team of Mediq Pharmacies Netherlands as a consultant and, in this capacity, will continue to represent Mediq, among others, as chairman of ASKA (Association of Chain Pharmacies).
Gerben Klein Nulent: “For nearly 20 years, I have worked with great pleasure for Mediq. First as CEO Mediq Pharmacies Netherlands, later as CEO ACP Pharma in Poland and member of the Executive Board. The completion of the sale of our pharmacy and wholesale activities in Poland is a logical moment in time for me to step down. I am extremely proud to have been part of what is now the largest chain of pharmacies in the Netherlands from the very start, as well as the introduction of Mediq Apteka in Poland.”
Rob ter Haar, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, comments: “The Supervisory Board and Executive Board are grateful to Gerben for his significant contribution these past years. He was partly responsible for enabling OPG to develop from a pharmaceutical wholesaler to a leading national chain of pharmacies, Mediq Pharmacies.”
