Mediq appoints Henrik Helmer Hansen as Chief Transformation Officer

As of May 9, Henrik Helmer Hansen joins Mediq’s Executive Committee as Chief Transformation Officer. He has a strong background in strategy, commercial excellence and transformation.

The past seven years, he worked at Atos Medical. Here he held positions such as Managing Director Nordics and most recently as Vice President Strategy and Commercial Excellence. In this period, he led the development to a direct-to-consumer medtech company and completed two successful private equity sales processes, most recently Atos Medical’s acquisition by Coloplast.

Experienced leader with medical devices background

Besides his transformational and leadership skills, we gladly welcome Henrik’s experience in medical devices and consultancy. Prior to his assignments at Atos Medical, Henrik worked for Svitzer (part of Maersk) and McKinsey. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and a master’s degree in Finance and Economics from London School of Economics. Henrik will report to Mediq CEO Thomas Hinnerskov and collaborate with transformational leaders Lars Ulrich and Roxane Nikdal (Nordics), Jasper Severs (Benelux) and Sandra Scherb (DACH region).
