Supporting the fight against COVID-19

One of the Mediq values is caring heart and that means always putting patients first and striving to make a difference. An example of caring heart is our contribution to the reopening of societies by making COVID-19 antigen home tests available. Mediq conducted a thorough review and analysis of the available tests in order to ensure that only quality products were made available.

In May 2021, Mediq Norway received a large shipment of covid-19 antigen self-tests after careful evaluation of the available options. During the summer and fall, Mediq Norway distributed these self-tests to the Norwegian consumer market via pharmacies and the construction, electric industry and business markets. This way, we helped to reduce infections and the spread of COVID-19 in Norway. Naturally, our Norway office also uses self-tests before internal and external meetings. Furthermore, we encourage our employees to use tests when having symptoms that could indicate coronavirus infection.
